The Ohuhu is a community of people in Umuahia located in the South Local Government Area in Abia State, Nigeria. We are part of our country’s rich cultural heritage, and yet our people often do not receive the right support to continue thriving into the modern era. Helping them is the goal of our nonprofit 501c organization in Commack, New York.
Our organization is made up of Ohuhu sons and daughters who belong in various professions within and outside the homeland. From our international station in New York, we do campaigns, events, and outreach programs to promote the welfare of Ohuhu indigenes and protect our traditions and culture.
Our outreach efforts aim to unite our fellow Ohuhu people across the globe for our collective development in the realm of education, healthcare, social and civic consciousness, and economics.
Every member of Ohuhu Development Union International embodies the following values:
- Loyalty
